Every winning poker player has their own style of play, but there is one thing that most of them will have in common, and that is, most of them follow a tight aggressive style. For all of you starting out or trying to build your bankroll and dreaming of a future as a professional poker player, try to play tight and aggressive poker and only tight aggressive poker. Playing Tight Aggressive Poker A tight aggressive player will play only strong and premium starting hands. Select your starting hands carefully and don’t risk your chips on hands that will not give you good odds. To be aggressive when you get those strong hands, you need to make strong moves by betting or raising the bet. This will increase your chances of getting week players off the pot and make the pots larger so they are more profitable. As a beginner, it is recommended to try and master this from the start. Even though there are professional players who play loose and a bit passive, The top five most successful poker players all play tight aggressive poker.
